TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is an assessment and exchange mechanism for corporate information security. It was developed and established by the ENX Association in cooperation with the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
TISAX regulates the secure handling of information between business partners, for example between automotive manufacturers and their suppliers or service providers. This includes the protection of prototypes as well as compliance with data protection requirements under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). TISAX is based on the ISO/IEC 27001 standard and serves as a benchmark for an information security management system (ISMS).
SGS Germany GmbH obtains TISAX protection level 3
SGS Germany GmbH has successfully obtained TISAX certification at the highest protection level 3 (“very high”) for its locations in Puchheim, Geretsried-Gelting, and Rosenheim. Our Scope ID is S9NKRX.
Scope of certification
The TISAX scope covers all business activities of SGS Germany GmbH at the aforementioned sites. This currently includes the e-Mobility and EMC & product safety departments, which are responsible for safety-critical testing and certification in the areas of electromobility, electromagnetic compatibility, and product safety.
