Mechanical Testing

Reliability testing: Mechanical stress tests under real-world conditions

Mechanical environmental simulation is a key component of product testing. It ensures that products can withstand real mechanical stresses – both during transport and storage as well as during operation in their intended application.

The objective is to identify potential weaknesses at an early stage, such as in product design or packaging. At the same time, the reliability, safety, and service life of a product are validated - regardless of whether it involves electronics, medical technology, automotive components, or consumer goods.

Our testing infrastructure

  • 6 electrodynamic shakers (frequency range: 5–2,000 Hz)
  • Force classes from 18 to 300 kN thrust force
  • Mounting surface up to max. 2 x 2.6 m
  • Thermal overlay
  • Power supply up to 400 kW
  • Possibility for function monitoring during testing
  • Cooling unit (Huber)
  • Accredited test reports in accordance with ISO 17025

Vibration tests

Vibration tests simulate mechanical vibration loads to which products are exposed in real-world applications.

  • Sinusoidal (harmonic) excitations
  • Random (noise-based) excitations

Shock tests

Shoch tests evaluate resistance to sudden mechanical loads, such as those occurring during drops, impacts, or explosive-type events.

Combined climatic and dynamic testing

These tests combine temperature cycling with simultaneous mechanical loading, creating highly realistic environmental conditions.
